Hi,

I want to develop an MVC site in my free time without the expense of a Windows server. I've built commercial sites with Microsoft's MVC/Entity Framework in Visual Studio, is there anything I need to know before embarking down the equivalent Mono route? Can I use NuGet and 3rd party libraries like fluentvalidation etc? What are the free IDEs like?

Please help.
